CONGRATULATIONS!
You made the big decision
to sell your home.
This is most likely a very exciting time for you
and also a little (if not a lot) overwhelming.
Not only will you be moving, but
you've learned you need to
stage your house before you show it.
~~~
Are you asking yourself these questions?
If I'm leaving, why do I have to redecorate my house?
How do I stage when I'm packing to move?
Where do I put all my stuff?
Will this cost me an arm and a leg?
I simplify the entire process and
together we get it done without breaking the bank!
Staging a house for sale has become the norm.
And it's important to understand that Home Staging is not the same as Decorating. A decorated home is designed for you. A staged home is designed to attract the largest pool of potential buyers and help them visualize living there.
If you think of a theater stage or a TV show set, all pieces and props have a purpose and a rightful place on stage to further the show along and make an impression on the audience.
Or, we can think about it another way...if you're meeting a client for the first time hoping to make a sale, you basically "stage" yourself. You dress nice, you're on time and you have your sales pitch down pat. You wouldn't wing it or come to the meeting sweaty from the gym. You want to make the best first impression in order to sell your product.
Your home is your product or "show" and potential buyers are your audience. Buyers aspire to own and live in beautiful homes. They love to see online photos of an uncluttered, well-appointed home that looks new, fresh, light and bright.
Your staged house will stand out in online searches, shine during open houses and secure competitive offers.
Let's get you staged!
Today, the first place a potential home buyer sees your house is through your online photos.
Buyers who look at your online photos do not want to see all your stuff, they want to see your house. Too much stuff in the way is a turn off and often obscures visuals that a buyer might otherwise connect positively with. For example, a bay window, a tall foyer entry, a spacious playroom are all great selling features that can be missed if the photos don't properly highlight these emotional connection points.
Together we set up a plan to declutter, organize and redesign your furnishings so your photos highlight your home's beauty.
You will have a personalized plan and know what to pack, what to donate, what to save for staging and how to get this all done!
With my staging techniques and your furnishings, we design your home to sell fast, for top dollar,
without breaking the bank.
We don't live in staged homes,
we show and sell them!
I have always had a passion for art and design. I'm a visual person and I notice the beauty in the world around me and always want to photograph it, paint it or rearrange it.
After receiving an MBA, I spent many years at Tiffany & Co.
working on product development and buying
but I opted out of the traditional workforce to raise my family.
During that time a friend and I started a nut-free chocolate company, Nothin' Nutty, LLC. We both had kids with severe nut allergies and with no safe, fun and sweet chocolate on the market we took matters into our own hands. Among all the details an entrepreneur has on her plate, I was able to put my creative skills back to work designing packaging and marketing materials and managing our website. I'm proud to say we took Nothin' Nutty for a wonderful five year ride, winning an award from
The Food Initiative, getting press coverage including
The Financial Times, but most importantly
we made lots of kids happy.
I continued to quench my creative thirst during my kid-rearing years by taking many interior design courses and oil painting classes. Once my kids were well on their way, I got certified as a Professional Home Stager and reentered the work world.
As a Home Stager, I specialize in staging occupied homes. That means I design your home to be put on the market using your stuff. I may adorn some rooms with accent pieces here and there, but basically in order to keep costs down for you, we work with what you have. I've always had a knack for room layout and design and I'm constantly rearranging my own home.
I love helping my family and friends do the same and
I'd love the opportunity to help you as well.
Together we will walk through your home, room by room and I provide you with an organized and personalized plan. After my consultation you will know:
MY GOAL IS FOR YOUR HOME TO SELL FAST AND FOR TOP DOLLAR.
Let's make that happen together!
